
Tyler R. Andre has been a full-time GIS Analyst for the Onondaga Environmental Institute (OEI) since January of 2008. The OEI is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to public education, scientific research, planning and restoration of the environment. He began his career at the OEI as an intern in early 2007. His duties as a Geographic Information System (GIS) analyst involve developing a functioning database management system for OEI’s wealth of geographic data, performing spatial analysis for project scientists, and producing informative and effective maps to coincide with project reports. Mr. Andre received his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from State University of New York – College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY-ESF), Syracuse, NY.
